We’ve had some great conversations spark up this week, and YOU are missing out if you haven’t joined in. We’re a little over a week away from the deadline, and the contest has jumped to lightspeed.
On the Operation Olivia discussion boards, user Laughtec brought up the issue of self censorship and properness in pitches. Are you pushing the envelope or going too far?
Over on Probot’s first pitch video a hearty conversation has sparked up. His professionalism and thoroughness may have intimidated some, but there are still a ton of angles that haven’t been covered.
Finally, I need to bring a recent video to your attention. User StinkNStink wins the award for oddest pitch I’ve seen yet. How is it that we haven’t talked about it? If his idea is this off the wall, I can only imagine the craziness that would ensue if it actually gets made. Cartwheels, weird vocal shifts, and dream sequences await (seriously!). It’s so out there, it just might work!
Operation Olivia – The Real World Star Wars
You’ve got the rest of the weekend to upload your video before the Munn-day round up and till September 3rd (at noon, PST) to enter the contest. Be sure to drop me a message through my Atom profile if you want to nominate something for the blog.
Now, go forth and be geeky.
