You all well know by now that the Operation Olivia winner has been announced. While some of you are congratulatory, and relatively content with the announcement, others… are not. I don’t blame you for being upset or disappointed.

HOWEVER, some of you are being really hilarious babies about it, and I think it’s worth bringing up. The range of negative opinions spreads from curt…

…to outright belligerent.

If you’re a man’s man, but aren’t interested in a wiener measuring contest with the beer chugging meathead at the end of the bar then come, take a walk on the softer side of binge drinking. There’s no shame in sipping on a delicious cocktail, whether it’s pink, topped with whipped cream, or ends with “-tini”.

To help with this list, we got the star of the new Atom Original Chick Drinks (creator of White People Problems and alcohol aficionado) Zach Selwyn to provide a masculine counterpoint.

10. Michelob Ultra

Says “I care about burning calories, but I still like to party.” The Ultra-ultra-chick magnet, Michelob Ultra can be the perfect accessory to the health conscious stud. It hardly tastes like anything, let alone beer, so it’s the perfect alternative to the carb-loaded big brother- the pint. Maybe you can set up a gym date with the toned girl in the corner, sipping on a vodka and soda.

Counterpoint:

Michelob Ultra – Hey, if you want to drink watered down beer, get Miller Lite or Natty Lite – both are awesome, and you can drink 25 of them. Ultra was a fad, but it has a bad aftertaste. Still, acceptable for me, because at least its BEER, but if you tailgate at a football game Michelob Ultra, you’ll quickly be given a bad nickname like “Sparkles McWears-a-Thong.”

Facebook has had quite an evolution. As its name reveals, it was once a beacon for stalking tracking familiar faces. It worked best as a professional networking utility with a specific focus on detailing the lies about your success that you’d normally have to deliver in person at class reunions.

Yeah, I’m talking to you Jenny Langenfeld

Oh you people, with your intensely graphic, violent, animations about cartoon characters murdering dictators… Why is it that the weirdest clips we get are all animated?

As best as I can tell, this is what is “supposed” to be the narrative of this video: Osama, Adolf, and Leatherface are having a sleepover, and they’re up past their bed time playing video games and shit get’s crazy. And then Mario shoots everyone.

Someone once told me that there’s something special about being effortlessly weird. While there’s definitely something self conscious about this clip, it somehow manages to overcome that aspect of itself to become something I’d call “truly out there”. Is this parody? Is there a message? Perhaps meangreen3 is the product of the same violent media he preaches against? And still, the circle continues.

Our buddies over at the mothership (or Comedy Central, as you guys probably know it), have released the latest entry into their Redneck Games series Defend Yer Sister, a parking lot brawler where you defend the honor, such as it is, of your sister. A shameful cash-in on a stereotype, or just a funny, weird concept? You be the judge.

We are insanely excited to have been chosen as the Operation Olivia contest winners!
There were a lot of great pitches and some really clever and original ideas. Granted, Beyonce had one of the best video pitches of all time, but we’ll take the win.
Frankly, We are thrilled at the prospect of producing a video with two of our favorite things: Star Wars & the talented Olivia Munn.
There is so much to be done- preparations and considerations to be made and we’re already knee deep in pre-production.

Libby Wells is an editor/director in her final year of the MFA Film Production program at USC. Her earliest star wars memory: being terrified of star tours at Disneyland.

DASH HAWKINS

Dash Hawkins is a writer/producer with dreams of mass off-planet migration. He has worked as an Associate Producer on 20th Century’s Divorce Court & Wedlock or Deadlock. Favorite star wars character: jar jar all day long.

RANDAL COOMBS

Currently working at a talent agency is burbank, Randal is a huge Star Wars fan. A die-hard defender of the original trilogy (in it’s original form), he is not the kind of man to suggest that anyone but Han shot first.

Sometimes you can protect the world with traditional methods (guns, fighter planes, sanctions) and sometimes you need to go with a giant robot piloted by teenagers. Meet Megabot, Atom’s brand new parody of teenage, robotic vigilantism (with Fran Kraz, from Dollhouse) that’s gone on just a little too long.

Inspired by Megabot, we put together a list of some of our favorite robotic advocates for interstellar justice.

#1: Voltron
The pilots who assembled to form Voltron labored under the delusion they were worth half a shit. They insisted on attacking their demonic foes with the lion vehicles, which inevitably got swatted away with a lethargic backhand. Sure, they’d form Voltron to cleave their opponent just nanoseconds later, but that was coasting on technology to do the heavy lifting.

Worse, I am beginning to think part of Voltron’s core mission was ethnic cleansing. Outfits aside, his pilots showed about as much diversity as a Klan rally.

“We must rid the universe of evil King Zarkon! And Blacks!”

As most of you know, Olivia Munn’s choice for the winner of the Operation Olivia contest will be announced later this week, September 24th. Tension is high, people are anxious. Olivia tweeted earlier that she’s already narrowed down her favorite six entries. Here’s what she had to say about two of those videos:
