E! Online and Deadline Hollywood are both reporting that Oprah (yes, the Oprah) will be retiring in 2011, just shy of the apocalypse. In honor of the big O passing the torch to some other lonely, megalomaniacal, savior to the day-time-television loving masses, I leave you with this bit of knowledge imparted upon my by the good lads of Team Tiger Awesome: when Oprah exits the building, everything goes to hell.
I miss her so much already.
* We shouldn’t even have to say this, but Oprah is not actually dead (touch wood), she has only announced her retirement.
