Every week, we give away $500 and airtime on our Comedy Central show Atom TV in the the Atom Showdown. Our tireless development team sifts through all of your uploads (literally yours) that come in to Atom and then we pit the two best videos against each other and make them fight it out for our approval and our cash (check out the showdown upload rules for all the life affirming fine print).

And now, each week, the Atom Editorial Staff will get together, flip a coin, randomly assign one of the videos to each of us, and we will call on our ill informed and hastily compiled opinions to debate the merits of each week’s Showdown Contenders. We bring you the Showdown Showdown: Week 2.

OPENING REMARKS

Matt: LETS DO THIS THANG
Matt: i dont like wrong hole, and you dont like beer goggles
Matt: because of an arbitrary coin toss
Andrew: that is totally the wrong way to think of this
Andrew: it’s supposed to be positive
Matt: becuase I love beer goggles so much?

THE CASE FOR WRONG HOLE

Andrew: Wrong Hole
Andrew: obviously lots to love about this video
Andrew: Scott Baio, the lovely Taryn Southern singing
Andrew: obviously lots to love about this video
Andrew: but I think the main thing I like about it is that while I was watching it
Andrew: I knew I’d get the opportunity to write the phrase “booty hole” over IM today
Matt:You’re excited about booty hole, but you didn’t like “Oprahgasm”?
Andrew:^ that’s going on my tombstone
Matt: Seriously though, it’s well produced and all, but it’s basically one joke, right?
Matt: whereas Beer Goggles has layer upon layer of subtext

THE CASE FOR BEER GOGGLES
Andrew: let’s hear it
Matt: It looks really good
Matt: It’s hyper violent
Matt: and it’s got a minute worth of credits
Andrew: man, that is true

CONCLUSION
Andrew: my verdict is, if having one joke is a crime, than I prefer the one with boobs
Matt: I think you mean Baio
Andrew:
