Time to dust off Grandpa’s tux, cuz Atom is going to the Streamys! That’s right, a bunch of Atom creators are nominated for Streamys, the web’s premiere awards show. Remember back when we asked you guys to nominate your favorite videos? Well, it paid off!  Thanks to your help, some of your favorite shows are now finalists.  Out of thousands of submissions, and hundreds individual shows, the top five were narrowed down by the IAWTV. Indeed, we’re very proud of all the nominations. ..

Atom produced The Legend of Neil was nominated for Best Writing and Best Directing, and (the coveted) Best Comedy. We’re so proud! In addition, LoN’s creator Sandeep Parikh was also nominated for Best Male Actor in a Comedy Web Series for his portrayal of Zaboo in The Guild. Fancy-pants!

Happy Tree Friends was singled out for Best Animated Web Series. We tend to agree.

Though Mike Rotman’s How To Avoid Mistakes was overlooked, Kevin Pollak’s Chat Show, a show he directs , did get a nomination for Best Hosted Web Series, Best Live Production in a Web Series and Best Web Series Host. Also, check out his awesome show Stupid For Movies (which he streams out of his garage!)

Finally, Atom’s own site editor Matt Enlow’s show Mountain Man picked up nominations for Best Art Direction, Sound Editing and Cinematography.

Everyone at Atom is really proud of the achievements of our creators. So much so, we’re already celebrating. Hopefully we’ll sober up in time to drive home. No one wants to sleep it off in on the office floor (again).
