After a lot of arguing about how to pack all the giveaways, wrong turns, and stops for jumbo bags of Corn Nuts, we made it Comic-Con. After getting settled at the hotel, we headed straight for the convention center, where, first things first, we checked our gats at the door.

And started the process of unloading freebies. As Matt tweeted:

“At the loading dock at #SDCC. It doesn’t look like they ordered enough Nacho cheese. #AtomAtComicCon”

After that we went to go set up the Atom booth (3445, everyone, nestled inside the gigantic Spike booth!). Oh, look, it’s Matt, looking cranky and a little confused!

Once the doors opened, things got going as smoothly as an unbroken tide of pent-up geeks can possibly go. We had our first fan decorated mask, a lovely (if not strictly canon) rendition of Felicia Day’s Fairy character from Legend Of Neil.

And a particularly gross picture with the Tommy Wiseau mask.

Tommy and lots of the cast and crew from The House That Drips Blood On Alex will be at the booth starting at 1pm today, come by, get a mask and meet the man himself. As I’ve been telling people at the booth, it’ll literally be the scariest thing you see at Comic-Con this year.
