  1. Atom Pick: Phobia Series – Arachibutyrophobia

Atom Picks are hand picked by the Atom staff and guest judges (like BILL PLYMPTON!!) so if you think you’re the creme de la creme of the Tournament, let us know on facebook.

We’re all afraid of something. Sometimes you’re afraid of heights, sometimes it’s clowns, but unless you’re afraid of people dumping gallons of milk all over themselves, this video is pretty great.

  2. ‘The House That Drips Blood On Alex’ – The Fans Respond

Man oh man, you guys, thanks for tuning in to watch The House That Drips Blood On Alex both on the official site, and on our very special episode of Atom TV. If you missed seeing it on the Medium Screen (your TV), stay up late the Saturday before Halloween to catch a re-run at 4:15am/3:15c on Comedy Central.

That being said, the director of The House That Drips Blood On Alex, Brock LaBorde from Studio 8 was in the office the other day, and he mentioned that a bunch of you had posted response videos online, including a few of you who’d clearly just stumbled upon the video while flipping through Comedy Central late at night.

  3. Steve Sansweet Says “Goodbye” To Lucasfilm

There are few Star Wars fans in the world as accomplished in their fandom. Even fewer collectors manage to turn their obsession into their livelihood.  Steve Sansweet  owns the largest Star Wars memorabilia collection, he served as the first official Lucasfilm fan ambassador, and was integral in the operations of our very own Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge. In a word, Steven Sansweet is bonafide. After nearly 15 years with Lucasfilm, though, Sansweet is moving on to other ventures.

What really makes Steven Sansweet so special, though, is the immeasurable impact he’s had on the people of the Star Wars fan community (and indirectly, fans world wide). He helped carve out a legitimate home for fans, and set a precedence of fan community Star Wars fans enjoy to this day.

Hop over to StarWars.com to check out Steve’s sweet collection of Star Wars stuff on his ranch, lovingly named “Rancho Obi-wan“.

  4. Exclusive ‘Paranormal Activity 2′ Trailer From The Scream Awards

Let’s be real, shit is basically SUPER SPOOKY these days. Our nice big brothers over at Spike TV and our cousins at Paramount (I don’t know, I’m not a business expert) sent us this extra scary looking exclusive trailer for Paranormal Activity 2, the followup to the ALREADY RIDICULOUSLY SCARY ‘Paranormal Activity’ (First Sequence), that played during The Scream Awards on Spike. Check it out, right here!

  5. Tournament Week 26: Costumed Weirdos Reign

This week’s winners are a wild mix of costumed-retro-puppet-weirdos. My dream for the Tournament is finally coming true! Hit the jump to see who won (hint – there are a few shout-out winners in the top 10).  If you’d like a shout-out, let me know in the Tournament Facebook. You too could win cash, prizes, and time on Comedy Central.

And if you’d like to win the Atom Pick from Bill Plympton himself, be sure to upload your best animation by the end of this week!

  6. Tommy Wiseau Talks About Blood, Craft, & Living For 120+ Years

I sat down with Tommy Wiseau, (you know, from The Room, The House That Drips Blood On Alex, and our relentless status updates on Twitter and facebook) to talk turkey. I asked you for questions on Twitter, and in turn asked Tommy.

Ok. So here’s the thing with talking to Tommy Wiseau – Tommy is a freight train, he’s a cannon ball, he’s a force of nature. What I’m saying is, there’s only one question that Tommy hears: “Talk about what’s on your mind”. And then he does.  What you’re about to see is a mind bending, stream of consciousness and broken sentences that Tommy espouses basically all the time.

If you too want your mind blown, click over to our facebook for the exclusive Tommy interview.

  7. THEMS! Scares Up A Shout-Out

Recently I asked you all to submit your favorite videos on the facebook page, so that I could find the most impassioned creator to feature on the homepage. I did this out of the warmth of my own heart, and my compassion for fellow filmmakers, and not because I’m totally lazy and want you guys to do my job for me (really).

For the here and for the now: THEMS!

  8. The Screen Saviors Love Glarry Botter

Our pals over at NextMovie.com focused their laser wit on our very own Legend Of Neil. Get yourself a second helping of Glarry Botter, in this week’s episode of The Screen Saviors.

  9. The Feud Between Animator And Animation Comes To A Thrilling Conclusion

The Trailer for the final chapter, Animator Vs. Animation 3

Alan Becker is a man of many lucrative talents, but when it comes to bringing chaos to the desktop, his skills are par to none.  It’s not that we have something against your desktop, or the classic corporate icons that you find on most home computers, it’s just that Alan is so darn good at animating their destruction. Over the past 4 years, Animator Vs. Animation has racked up a staggering 20 million + plays. That’s one play for every person in all of Alaska. Finally, after all these years, we’re proud to premiere the final chapter in the webby award winning series: Animator Vs. Animation 3 (accept no imitations).  See what people on the web have been saying (or join the conversation with the tag #AvsA3), or check out these fancy-pantsy blogs had to say.

  10. Pictures From The Hollywood Screening Of ‘The House That Drips Blood On Alex’

Last night, the nice folks at the Comedy Central Stage were kind enough to host a VIP screening of The House That Drips Blood On Alex, starring Tommy wiseau, the visionary filmmaker behind The Room. If you weren’t one of the lucky few to be in the audience, it premieres tonight (or tomorrow morning, depending on how strictly accurate you want to be) at 3am/2c on Atom TV on Comedy Central on the TV.

THTDBOA co-creator Brock LaBorde, iJustine Justine Ezarik, Brooke Brodack, Tommy Wiseau, THTDBOA co-creator Jared Richard, and Joey Greco get ready to answer some questions.

Get a peek behind Tommy’s fabled sunglasses. Not everyone survives this.

iJustine records Tommy’s answer for posterity.

Tommy and Joey Greco share a perfectly comfortable laugh.
