The Shaman, filmmaker, cavorter, spiritual philanthropist, and bro of Adam Carolla’s, has begun sending us (unsolicited) coverage of popular events throughout the California area. He tends to cover events both psychedelic and where shirts are optional (there’s plenty of cross over). Recently, he’s trekked to two infamous meccas of society’s weirder characters; Comic-con and Burning Man. They were both a heavy time, psychically speaking.
Our shamanic sojourner spent his weekend at Burning Man interviewing people whose idea of a good time is riding a getting branded on the ass during a dust storm, or building a cock shaped car. His people. In an odd role reversal, The Shaman has taken to wearing a shirt* while the women he interview go topless. It must be pretty dusty out there. It’s the desert after all.
And on the other end of the cultural spectrum, The Shaman crawled the floor of the world’s largest nerd-fest, Comic-Con.
