Early last week we shot four new episodes of Atom TV. That’s so much talent in one tiny room! Take a look at the fun we had with Natasha Leggero, her dog Mayor Cutie, Duncan Trussell, Tony Janning, Sandeep Parikh, Josh Warren, Dan Fogler, TJ Hassan and Dan Levy.

Now, obviously I know that you guys are all huge “What’s The Buzz” fans, but for the few of you who might have missed it, Dan Fogler (Lt. Black from M’Larky) showed up to very charmingly learn what, in fact, the “buzz” was (spoiler alery, it’s M’Larky). In honor of Dan Fogler’s off-the-rails cop comedy, M’Larky we’re looking for a few good maniac filmmakers. Upload a video that honors the spirit of M’Larky, and Lt. Black himself will select the winning Atom Pick. That’s $500 bucks for uploading the craziest, most maniacal sketch you’ve got. It doesn’t necessarily have to match M’Larky’s vibe exactly – it doesn’t have to be about cops, or have a Gilbert Gottfried impression in it – we’re mainly looking for something that a guy like M’larky and Lt. Black would love. Black’s a guy who loves good characters and out-there comedy, so catch up on your M’Larky and get shooting. You’ll still be eligible to win top plays awards, just like normal.

Let me know when you’ve uploaded your video in the Creators Group Forum . That way I’ll be sure to pass the right videos on to Dan. And this goes without saying, but keep it safe out there, friends.

Dan Fogler is an intense, busy man. It takes a true artist to conjure the humanity that his Lieutenant Black brings to the (very small) screen. Fogler opens up about the genesis of M’larky, and his filmmaking career at large in an interview with Collider.com. Today, he needs your help: An infamous mean streets drug runner has just committed a triple homicide, but M’Larky doesn’t have enough evidence to get an indictment. The villain, however, has left behind a trail of intricate clues, which should be able to lead most competent officers to the key piece of evidence needed to put this frikkin’ scumbag away for frikkin’ life.

I (Tina from Content Development)  was on set this past weekend for the M’Larky shoot. M’Larky is an Atom.com original web series starring Dan Fogler.  It’s a parody of your favorite 80s cop dramas like Miami Vice. The different thing about M’Larky is it blends live action sequences with real car chasing video games and animation.

The best part, besides M’Larky being a degenerate alcoholic, is Gilbert Gottfried and Jeffrey Ross were on set.  And here’s a picture of Gilbert to prove it (with an unidentified crew member).
