Let’s face it: fourth grade was pretty terrifying. Sure, there were action figures and sidewalk chalk, but there were also bullies and popularity polls.

Relive all the horror (in a charming, adorable way) in this week’s Atom Pick by comedian Brent Weinbach. The premise is spot on, the acting remarkable, and the overall feeling is a combination of nostalgia and the relief that it’s all behind you. So go ahead and grab your lunch box, sharpen your pencils, and give it a look. We dare you not to whimper sympathetically at “there’s pee on the floor.”

The subjects of Tournament submissions usually fall into a few broad categories; there are always a couple music videos, celebrity impressions, a fart gag or two, some current pop culture treatments. Barring major holidays (December brings Santa videos a-go-go) and major political scandals (so many Palins!), those are generally about about as cohesive as the classifications get.

You can understand our paranoia, then, when we noticed a very strong contingent of videos centered around one very particular subject: stalkers.

Now, we’re not accusing anybody of anything, but we’re going to be taking a few extra precautions around here as we walk to our cars at night.

At least we can take solace in the fact that there aren’t hordes of Internet fanboys making us their desktop wallpaper (OR ARE THERE?)

…or that we’re going to meet our latest leech on a matchmaking site (OR ARE WE?!?)

…or that there are people who know how to use internet sites such as facebook or twitter or their stalkee’s blog to track them down (oh, f*ck.)

….we’ll be Internetting with one eye open, Tournament contenders.

Traditionally, Thanksgiving is a harvest festival, a time when families gather to give thanks for their many blessings and to appreciate the bounty of their labors. They sit down to a meal together to break bread, to share what they’re grateful for, and, more often than not, to bug the crap out of each other.

In honor of this hallowed day of gravy-induced comas and petty arguments, we present to you a compilation of the weirdest, grossest, most inappropriate family meals to be found here on Atom.

Consider it a holiday gift from our maladjusted family to yours.

The crew over at NextMovie.com once again bring in da noise, bring in da funny with another episode of The Screen Saviors.

This time, they’re dishing up a happy little rap track about that hiker dude who cut his own arm off, workout tips from Hollywood’s most hardcore (read: terrifying) trainer, and another glimpse of our fearless leader, General Potton.

The Venue: UCLA Grad School Party
The good thing about grad school parties is the beer flows freely and it’s almost always the good stuff.

The bad thing is I hardly know what any of these people are talking about. I can talk to anybody, but I don’t care who’s running for the Senate this year; I don’t even play fantasy football.

The Opponents: Former Frat Boys
Frat guys who try to pretend they’re no longer frat guys are nuts. I think I play a lot of beer pong, but these guys have muscle memory that would make Tiger Woods jealous.

The Strategy: The Power of Music
If there’s one thing I’ve learned about frat dudes, it’s that when they’re drunk they love singing along to the cheesiest music ever made.

I ask to plug in my iPod. Letting a black guy choose the music at a party is pretty much the same as if Obama showed up and gave everyone a high five, so I know I’ll be good. I let some crazy broad load OAR’s “That Was a Crazy Game of Poker” into my iTunes a few years ago hoping it would help get me some. Unlike then, hopefully this plan will be a success.

The Outcome: Victory
Apparently it’s a lot harder to sink ping pong balls when you are screaming “oh-aye-revolution” at the top of your lungs.

But the best thing about hammered frat boys is they’re always the first to get the “drunken munchies.” Before I started the next game, I sent them off on a taco run. Victory numero dos.

The Final Word: One drunk frat boy in the hand is worth two tacos in the mouth. Good times.
