  1. Look At This Thing: Really Sad Heroes

Illustrator Mike Mitchell has created some very cartoonish renderings of your favorite heroes experiencing some very real remorse.

Cheer up, Link. There’s some hot fairy tail at the end of the tunnel.

Catch all Legend of Neil here.

  2. Some Of Our Favorite Atom Stuff From 2010

As we count down the minutes to 2011 in the almost eerily quiet Atom offices, we thought we’d take a quick moment to present an extremely incomplete list of some of the great things we did in 2010. From the finale of our biggest series, Legend Of Neil, to narrowly avoiding a Tommy Wiseau-inspired riot at Comic-Con, to the launch of the Tournament, things got a little nuts this year, and here are just a few of our favorite things that happened.

  3. Photos From The Legend Of Neil Finale

As promised here are some choice photos from the Legend of Neil finale screening last night. If you’d like to see the full album, mosey over to facebook, where I’ve put up a ton more pictures.

Now, grab a bottle of cheap wine, watch the Finale on full screen, and peruse these pictures, and it’s basically like you were there last night.

  4. The Legend Of Neil Finale Screening

It’s with much pride, excitement, and a little sorrow, that we screened the epic finale to our blockbuster series, The Legend Of Neil moments ago in downtown LA. The cast, crew and fans gathered to give Neil and the gang one final toast, and throw one hell of a party. We watched the finale for a great series, drank a few beers with the cast,  and listened to Felicia Day talk about her “lady junk” on stage. It’s a night none of us will forget. Now, before this post goes full-blown-wedding-toast, take a look at our behind the scenes peak of the screening and after party.

We’ll have a slew of professional photos tomorrow, but in the meantime, here are some guerrilla photos from tonight’s festivities.

The line of eager fans started hours before the screening. People flew in from Oregon, Seattle, and Philadelphia.

A few people milling about before the screening starts.

  5. The Screen Saviors Love Glarry Botter

Our pals over at NextMovie.com focused their laser wit on our very own Legend Of Neil. Get yourself a second helping of Glarry Botter, in this week’s episode of The Screen Saviors.

  6. Congratulations To The Legend Of Neil Pilot For Its 1,000,000th Customer

Just in time for what’s going to be an utterly mind-blowing finale of Legend Of Neil, we’re extremely pleased to congratulate Sandeep, Tony, and everyone on the Legend Of Neil team on the 1,000,000th pageview of the pilot. That’s right, the very first episode of Legend Of Neil has been watched over 1 million times. Even discounting the 100,000 or so times I’m personally responsible, that’s still an amazing feat! If you haven’t already, or you just want to help run up the score watch the episode right now.

Don’t forget the grand finale of Legend Of Neil is going to premiere on October 27th. In the mean time, get caught up with the entire series from the very beginning here.

  7. Punchline Interviews The Sklar Brothers

Remember recent Legend Of Neil guest stars The Sklar Brothers? They put in a great turn as a pair of sports loving Armoses, the monsters from Legend Of Zelda who are statues that only come to life when you touch them. Oh look, a special minisode:

Look at Punchline to get a taste of what else the Sklar’s are up to, how they approach comedy, and what they’re doing on the internet these days.

  8. Alex Albrecht Moonlights As A Legend Of Neil Cast Member

You know Alex Albrecht from Digg Nation, the Totally Rad Show, and from having gravity defying hair, but when he’s not talking about cool things on the internet, he’s collaborating with the Legend of Neil doodz — creator/director Sandeep Parikh and creator/star Tony Janning. Besides all being in the improv troupe Hammer Don’t Hurt ‘Em, Alex is in a couple eppys of LON. If you’ve ever hypothesized that Denzel Washington’s character from Glory is actually Bear Grylls, then prepare to start bragging to your friends, because that shit is about to get confirmed (sort of).

Legend of Neil, Season 3, Ep. 4: 40 Acres And A Zol: Alex plays the last white soldier in the newly integrated Hyrulian army.

Legend of Neil, Season 3, minisode 3: Elf Vs. Wild: In this minisode Alex plays an intrepid survival-reality show host who happens upon a wild “Like-like”.

  10. Legend Of Neil At Dragon*Con In Atlanta This Weekend

I was hoping that “Dragon*Con” was some sort of grift I hadn’t heard of, like the “Tenessee McGuffin” or the “Melon Drop” or some other entertainingly named flim flam — especially when I heard the Legend of Neil crew was involved. Unfortunately, it’s actually a pop-culture convention in Atlanta. You all know I’m down for some good natured nerd frivolity, and if you’re going to be in town for the Con, you should check out our boys! Here’s Sandeep and the rest of the gang’s schedule:
