  1. Photos From The Legend Of Neil Finale

As promised here are some choice photos from the Legend of Neil finale screening last night. If you’d like to see the full album, mosey over to facebook, where I’ve put up a ton more pictures.

Now, grab a bottle of cheap wine, watch the Finale on full screen, and peruse these pictures, and it’s basically like you were there last night.

  2. The Legend Of Neil Finale Screening

It’s with much pride, excitement, and a little sorrow, that we screened the epic finale to our blockbuster series, The Legend Of Neil moments ago in downtown LA. The cast, crew and fans gathered to give Neil and the gang one final toast, and throw one hell of a party. We watched the finale for a great series, drank a few beers with the cast,  and listened to Felicia Day talk about her “lady junk” on stage. It’s a night none of us will forget. Now, before this post goes full-blown-wedding-toast, take a look at our behind the scenes peak of the screening and after party.

We’ll have a slew of professional photos tomorrow, but in the meantime, here are some guerrilla photos from tonight’s festivities.

The line of eager fans started hours before the screening. People flew in from Oregon, Seattle, and Philadelphia.

A few people milling about before the screening starts.

  3. Smash’d: Glenn Beck Tells the Truth

Our friend Scott Chernoff, remixes pop-culture weirdness (and makes it even weirder) in his new blog series: Smash’d.

Finally, televangelist Glenn Beck comes clean in this Fox News interview looking back on his historic-ish “Restoring Honor” rally at the Lincoln Memorial. Glenn is always riveting, but I’ve never seen him be quite so forthright. Takes him a minute to summon his courage, but the guy really opens up, and it’s quite impressive. Hats off, GB!

And if you still haven’t seen last week’s promo for “Survivor: Old Folks vs. Babies,” you really should get in on that. The tribe has spoken. Etc.

EDITOR: Plus, here’s a bonus video – the second episode of Scott’s new web series, “TV Guide Letter Theater.” This week: “Family Guy’s” Quagmire.

  4. Smash’d – Survivor: Babies

Our friend Scott Chernoff, remixes pop-culture weirdness (and makes it even weirder) in his new blog series: Smash’d.

I’m so psyched for the new TV season. The new “Survivor” looks awesome, but some people say they’re taking the whole “Old vs. Young” thing a little too far. Remember when “Survivor” divided people by race? That was nothing compared to this. Check out this new promo I saw on TV.

  5. SMASH’D: Obama On The View

Our friend Scott Chernoff, remixes pop-culture weirdness (and makes it even weirder) in his new blog series: Smash’d.

“The View” is a powerful show — after just two minutes on the set, suddenly everything President Obama felt about women was crystalized, and his honesty was staggering. Check it out.

  6. Comic-Con Day Three Roundup: The Big Day

Because of limited computer connectivity to the “Internet” from the Comic-Con show floor, get our latest updates at the Atom Twitter or right here on the Atom Blog. See the full schedule of Atom events right here.

Oh boy. Day three of Comic-Con was amazing, with all of our panel talent gathering throughout the day at the Atom Booth as we prepped for our back to back screenings of the premiere of Season 3 of Legend Of Neil and The House That Drips Blood On Alex.

But before that we managed to relax a little bit with our friend, the Shoeless Stormtrooper:

    and the Pirate Band:

    As Matt tweeted:
Every other weekend this pirate band makes less sense. #AtomAtComicCon

Then, between making probably too many space marine related jokes on the Atom Twitter, it was just chaos at the booth. The lovely and seriously lovely co-star of The House That Drips Blood On Alex, iJustine stopped by the booth and tried a Tommy Wiseau mask on for size.

Then, as 7:30 approached, the line outside room 7AB started to form for the premiere of Legend Of Neil! Check out the recap right now of Season 2, to get caught up, cause Season 3 premieres tomorrow!

The panelists, series creator Sandeep Parikh, Tony Janning (Neil), Felicia Day (Fairy), Angie Hill (Zelda), Mike Rose (Old Man), Eric Acosta (Wizrobe), and Scott Chernoff (Ganon) line up with moderator Alex Albrecht from The Totally Rad Show for the premiere.

The fans in attendance got to see the first and second episodes of Season 3, with Neil taking the plunge back into Hyrule in the premiere episode and Ganon and Wizrobe plotting how to get Neil once and for all in episode 302. The Q&A was hilarious, with a great appearance from a hilarious special guest, the shield eating Like Like from the series.

And it went from one packed house to the next, as Tommy Wiseau and gang rolled in for The House That Drips Blood On Alex. The screening was absolutely bonkers, as the trailer would suggest:

People even showed up ready to rock with their Tommy Wiseau masks. Stop by the Atom Booth, 3445, today if you still want one!

The screening was bonkers, with moderator (and co-star) Joey Greco, and co-stars Justine Ezarik, and Alex creators Brock LaBorde, Jared Richard, Chris Trew (Studio 8) doing their best to contain and control the force of nature that is Tommy Wiseau. Afterwards, there was a minor league mob scene as Tommy signed autographs in the main hall.

For everyone who was unfortunate enough to miss this screening, The House That Drips Blood On Alex isn’t going to premiere on Comedy Central until closer to Halloween, but we’re looking into the possibility of doing an additional screening before then, so keep checking the blog for updates.

And now we’re back to the floor, keep up on the Atom Twitter for more updates, or right here at the blog.

  7. Smash’d: LeBron’s Locker Room Adventures

Our friend Scott Chernoff, remixes pop-culture weirdness (and makes it even weirder) in his new blog series: Smash’d.

Just what the hell happened down in Miami that convinced Lebron James to want more Heat?

  8. Smash’d – McCain Goes Gay

Our friend Scott Chernoff, remixes pop-culture weirdness (and makes it even weirder) in his new blog series: Smash’d.

I don’t really follow politics, so maybe everyone already knew that John McCain is gay.

But I’ve always had terrible gaydar.  That’s why this interview McCain did on Sunday’s “Meet the Press” really threw me for a loop.  I always figured McCain was just a macho man who loved the Navy.  Now I see he was a macho man who loved the Navy.  If you know what I’m saying.

I couldn’t believe how honest the Republican senator from Arizona was about his past indiscretions – although it did get pretty awkward there at times. Check out the video and let me know what you think…

  9. New Conclusive Evidence That Obama Is In The Whoomp There It Is Video

Our friend Scott Chernoff, remixes pop-culture weirdness (and makes it even weirder) in his new blog series: Smash’d.

Have you heard the latest (and most awesome) conspiracy theory to hit President Obama? The internets and TV news are on fire over Gawker.com’s claim to have spotted Obama in the video for Tag Team’s 1993 rap novelty, I mean classic, “Whoomp! (There It Is).”

This raises several questions, most strikingly: Who was spending their day watching Tag Team videos, and why?

While that mystery may never be solved, I pulled this original cut of the video off YouTube so you can decide for yourself.  The video’s fuzzy, and it’s hard to make out the Obama-lookalike, but if you look hard, and don’t blink, he’s there – and I swear to God that IS President Obama. And by the way, this is a brand new, never-before-seen director’s cut. If you think you’ve already seen the Tag Team video with Obama, take another look, because this version features footage you probably didn’t notice the first time around:

Oh, and if you missed President Obama’s bizarre interview with Larry King last week, check it out here.

  10. SMASH’D: President Obama Hates His Job

Our friend Scott Chernoff, remixes pop-culture weirdness (and makes it even weirder) in his new blog series: Smash’d.

President Obama marked his 500th day in office by sitting down last night with TV legend Larry King, who was coincidentally celebrating his 500th year on the air. (Larry claims it’s really his show’s 25th anniversary week, but that number sounds suspiciously low to me.)

Larry grilled the president with his usual brand of take-no-prisoners questioning, and I was pretty surprised at some of the President’s views. Check out the video and see for yourself.

And if you haven’t yet seen last week’s shocking interview with Jesse James, see it here and prepare to be outraged.
