  1. Some Of Our Favorite Atom Stuff From 2010

As we count down the minutes to 2011 in the almost eerily quiet Atom offices, we thought we’d take a quick moment to present an extremely incomplete list of some of the great things we did in 2010. From the finale of our biggest series, Legend Of Neil, to narrowly avoiding a Tommy Wiseau-inspired riot at Comic-Con, to the launch of the Tournament, things got a little nuts this year, and here are just a few of our favorite things that happened.

  2. ‘The House That Drips Blood On Alex’ – The Fans Respond

Man oh man, you guys, thanks for tuning in to watch The House That Drips Blood On Alex both on the official site, and on our very special episode of Atom TV. If you missed seeing it on the Medium Screen (your TV), stay up late the Saturday before Halloween to catch a re-run at 4:15am/3:15c on Comedy Central.

That being said, the director of The House That Drips Blood On Alex, Brock LaBorde from Studio 8 was in the office the other day, and he mentioned that a bunch of you had posted response videos online, including a few of you who’d clearly just stumbled upon the video while flipping through Comedy Central late at night.

  3. Exclusive ‘Paranormal Activity 2′ Trailer From The Scream Awards

Let’s be real, shit is basically SUPER SPOOKY these days. Our nice big brothers over at Spike TV and our cousins at Paramount (I don’t know, I’m not a business expert) sent us this extra scary looking exclusive trailer for Paranormal Activity 2, the followup to the ALREADY RIDICULOUSLY SCARY ‘Paranormal Activity’ (First Sequence), that played during The Scream Awards on Spike. Check it out, right here!

  4. Pictures From The Hollywood Screening Of ‘The House That Drips Blood On Alex’

Last night, the nice folks at the Comedy Central Stage were kind enough to host a VIP screening of The House That Drips Blood On Alex, starring Tommy wiseau, the visionary filmmaker behind The Room. If you weren’t one of the lucky few to be in the audience, it premieres tonight (or tomorrow morning, depending on how strictly accurate you want to be) at 3am/2c on Atom TV on Comedy Central on the TV.

THTDBOA co-creator Brock LaBorde, iJustine Justine Ezarik, Brooke Brodack, Tommy Wiseau, THTDBOA co-creator Jared Richard, and Joey Greco get ready to answer some questions.

Get a peek behind Tommy’s fabled sunglasses. Not everyone survives this.

iJustine records Tommy’s answer for posterity.

Tommy and Joey Greco share a perfectly comfortable laugh.

Again, if you missed the show yesterday, stay up late tonight to watch it at 3am/2c on Atom TV on Comedy Central, or see it at the official site tomorrow! While you’re waiting, here’s Tommy flexing his hosting muscles for tonight’s show:

  5. Rock Out To A Song About The House That Drips Blood On Alex

You may think that because you saw the advanced screening of ‘The House That Drips Blood On Alex’ at Comic Con, and then made a custom Tommy Wiseau mask, and got a poster signed, and then blogged about it, that you’re the biggest Tommy Wiseau/’The House That Drips Blood On Alex’ fan out there. You’d think that, but until you form a band and then write a song about the yet-to-be-released film, these guys have you beat:

The young lads of Sons Of Admirals have great taste, indeed. Thanks for the awesome song, and get ready for the October release!

  6. Comic-Con Day Four Roundup: The Final Day

After all the excitement that Saturday held, I think we were hoping for a mellow, typical day to wrap things up. Sunday is kid’s day, after all, how bad could it be? Maybe I’ll even have time to check out the YO GABBA GABBA! panel. WRONG.

We still had a ton of posters, bags, playing cards, and masks to hand out and after the smash-hit screenings of The Legend of Neil and The House That Drips Blood On Alex, demand was even higher.

    It’s a feeding frenzy!

After handing out our last few posters depicting a raunchy 90′s nostalgia ridden web series and cult filmmakers covered in blood to doe-eyed children, we packed up and headed home.

    See you next year, nerds!

If you missed out on all the crowded, nerd-tastic action at Comic Con, check out the rest of our coverage, or, just take a look at the new episodes of The Legend of Neil, live now on Atom.

  7. Comic-Con Day Three Roundup: The Big Day

Oh boy. Day three of Comic-Con was amazing, with all of our panel talent gathering throughout the day at the Atom Booth as we prepped for our back to back screenings of the premiere of Season 3 of Legend Of Neil and The House That Drips Blood On Alex.

But before that we managed to relax a little bit with our friend, the Shoeless Stormtrooper:

    and the Pirate Band:

    As Matt tweeted:
Every other weekend this pirate band makes less sense. #AtomAtComicCon

Then, between making probably too many space marine related jokes on the Atom Twitter, it was just chaos at the booth. The lovely and seriously lovely co-star of The House That Drips Blood On Alex, iJustine stopped by the booth and tried a Tommy Wiseau mask on for size.

Then, as 7:30 approached, the line outside room 7AB started to form for the premiere of Legend Of Neil! Check out the recap right now of Season 2, to get caught up, cause Season 3 premieres tomorrow!

The panelists, series creator Sandeep Parikh, Tony Janning (Neil), Felicia Day (Fairy), Angie Hill (Zelda), Mike Rose (Old Man), Eric Acosta (Wizrobe), and Scott Chernoff (Ganon) line up with moderator Alex Albrecht from The Totally Rad Show for the premiere.

The fans in attendance got to see the first and second episodes of Season 3, with Neil taking the plunge back into Hyrule in the premiere episode and Ganon and Wizrobe plotting how to get Neil once and for all in episode 302. The Q&A was hilarious, with a great appearance from a hilarious special guest, the shield eating Like Like from the series.

And it went from one packed house to the next, as Tommy Wiseau and gang rolled in for The House That Drips Blood On Alex. The screening was absolutely bonkers, as the trailer would suggest:

People even showed up ready to rock with their Tommy Wiseau masks. Stop by the Atom Booth, 3445, today if you still want one!

The screening was bonkers, with moderator (and co-star) Joey Greco, and co-stars Justine Ezarik, and Alex creators Brock LaBorde, Jared Richard, Chris Trew (Studio 8) doing their best to contain and control the force of nature that is Tommy Wiseau. Afterwards, there was a minor league mob scene as Tommy signed autographs in the main hall.

For everyone who was unfortunate enough to miss this screening, The House That Drips Blood On Alex isn’t going to premiere on Comedy Central until closer to Halloween, but we’re looking into the possibility of doing an additional screening before then, so keep checking the blog for updates.

And now we’re back to the floor, keep up on the Atom Twitter for more updates, or right here at the blog.

  8. Comic-Con: ‘The House The Drips Blood On Alex’ Masked Meet And Greet

Because of limited computer connectivity to the “Internet” from the Comic-Con show floor, get our latest updates at the Atom Twitter or right here on the Atom Blog. See the full schedule of Atom events right here

We got to spend the afternoon with Tommy Wiseau, Joey Greco and the cast and crew of The House The Drips Blood On Alex at the Atom booth today, which was predictably madhouse. Tommy, by any measure, is a mad of huge energy, and is amazingly smooth at working a crowd. For the Masked Meet And Greet (we had old school coloring book masks that people could decorate), and Tommy, between his glad handing sessions, played art director for an insane coloring session with his fans.

  9. Comic-Con Preview Day Roundup: Damn Near Killed’em

After a lot of arguing about how to pack all the giveaways, wrong turns, and stops for jumbo bags of Corn Nuts, we made it Comic-Con. After getting settled at the hotel, we headed straight for the convention center, where, first things first, we checked our gats at the door.

And started the process of unloading freebies. As Matt tweeted:

“At the loading dock at #SDCC. It doesn’t look like they ordered enough Nacho cheese. #AtomAtComicCon”

  10. Hey Dorks, Atom’s Going To Be At Comic-Con!

If you’d asked me last summer how I wanted to spend the hottest part of the year in California, I can guarantee you that the #1 place on my list would be in San Diego, inside, with a lot of dudes.

    Lotta dudes.

But what can you do? That’s right, Associate Editor Matt and I are heading down to Comic-Con 2010 with the Atom gang (we’re basically slightly tougher version of the Latin Kings). You’ll be able to follow everything we have to say here on the Atom Blog, or on twitter @atomcomedy. It’s going to be a lot of complaining, a lot of snapping on geeks, and a lot of Matt going apeshit over some dork thing or another.

Stop by our booth (we’ll be nestled within Spike TV booth) or our panel screenings for some awesome and extremely unnerving content. We’ll be featuring two great panels for you, with the world premiere of Season 3 of the hit series Legend Of Neil, and the planetary premiere of the newest film starring Tommy Wiseau, the creator of The Room, called The House That Drips Blood On Alex.

At the booth, we’ll be giving away lots of cool stuff, including masks of Tommy Wiseau and characters from Legend Of Neil that you can bring to our scheduled ‘Masked Meet & Greets’ with the stars.

Check out our full schedule (more activities added as they come in!) and our teaser trailers for Legend Of Neil and The House That Drips Blood On Alex.
