Mr. Wangle, accountant to the stars, gives Rex the grim news that he is bankrupt. To raise everyone's spirits, Rex and the gang go for a night out at Johnny Savaloy's Church of Chemicalology. Wendy falls under the spell of Savaloy and is spirited away to his lair. Rex, Vince and Bob accept Savaloy's invitation to dinner and soon discover his sinister plot to turn Wendy into a mindless sycophant.
