Stage Fright  

Daphne, a rising film star in the change-over era from silent to sound, harbors a terrible secret. Her co-star is Arnold Hugh, known as "Lonesome Arnold," a character who is a sort of evil Harold Lloyd. Hugh has taken the prize pet of Tiny, a vaudevillian who performs a dog-juggling act as an opener to Hugh's films. Daphne knows about the dog-napping, but says nothing to Tiny so as to stay in Hugh's good graces and to further her film career. When Hugh's bullying becomes too much to bear, Tiny devises a vengeful trick with his dogs.
