One of the things we care deeply about at Atom is helping great domains get discovered – by the right buyers, at the right time, and in the right context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Often times that discovery happens when a founder lands on Atom, types in a few keywords, and stumbles on the perfect name through our AI-powered search. Other times, it starts with a retargeting ad, a recommendation carousel, or a deep-dive into a curated collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But there are also times when the discovery happens through a registrar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that\u2019s okay. In fact, that\u2019s expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founders approach domain buying in different ways. Some want inspiration. Others already know what they want and head straight to a registrar they\u2019ve used before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe sellers should have the flexibility to show up in both places, and we\u2019re making a small but important change to support that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can now list your Premium domains on Approved Third PARTY Platforms<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Effective immediately, you may list your Premium domains on an approved third party platform, as long as the listing price is at least 10% higher than your Atom BIN price. To view the list of approved third party platforms, check our Partial Exclusivity Policy<\/a>. The currently approved third party platforms offer coverage and exposure across most major domain registrars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This approach gives buyers the flexibility to complete their purchase through the registrar they\u2019re most comfortable with, while still recognizing that many of those journeys begin on Atom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We invest heavily in marketing and discovery tools to surface the right domains to the right buyers. So even if the final sale happens elsewhere, the initial discovery often starts with us. The 10% price buffer simply helps balance that out, supporting seller flexibility without undervaluing the role Atom plays in generating demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your domain sells through a registrar and meets the pricing guidelines, there\u2019s no commission owed to Atom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why this matters<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve always supported external visibility for Premium domains through syndication to several distribution partners. This update is simply a natural extension of that principle: giving sellers even more exposure without compromising the quality of the Atom buyer experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are also working on aggressively expanding and adding new partners to Atom Distribution Network, which will offer additional exposure to domains listed with Atom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
