What is a .mobi extension?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Around 2005, with the use of mobile phones picking up around the world, it was pretty evident that people would sooner or later consume internet services massively through mobile phones. In 2008, Afilias PLC took over the registry operation rights of the extension. It is the same company that also holds the primary registry operation rights to .info and .pro extensions. Depending upon the vendor through which you wish to register your .mobi domain, it will cost you somewhere between $7 to $20. Meanwhile, yearly renewal charges start from $14, which is somewhat pricier, compared to other domain extensions including .com and .info.<\/span><\/p>\n

What’s the big deal about a .mobi domain?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In fact, over 500+ websites ending in .mobi are already among the top million ranked websites making it the ninth most popular generic TLD in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n
