How to setup White-label Seller Marketplace
⚠️ A record setup is being deprecated on October 6
If your white label marketplace is currently set up using A records (54.210.75.214 and 34.196.175.210), switch to the name server method before October 6: point your domain's name servers to ns1.atom.com and ns2.atom.com at your registrar. Your marketplace may continue to work after that date, but we highly recommend switching before then to avoid any disruption. See Step 2 below for instructions.
The White-label Seller Marketplace lets you launch your own domain marketplace on your own domain, powered by Atom's technology and customer service. It is currently available to sellers by invitation only.
Setting it up takes three steps: configure your marketplace, point your domain's name servers to Atom, and choose how buyers land on your listings. This article walks through each step, plus DNS management, branding, analytics, and adding your domains.
Step 1: Configure Your Marketplace
In your left navigation, click Standard Listings, then Configure Marketplace.
Standard Listings are an easy way to upload your domains in bulk or one at a time. You can learn more about the differences between listing types in What are Standard, Plus and Premium Listings.
Under Settings & Routing, add "Your Website URL". This is the URL buyers will type to visit your marketplace, for example topbrands.com.
Step 2: Point Your Domain to Atom
Sign in to your domain registrar (the company where you registered your marketplace domain) and set the domain's name servers to:
-
ns1.atom.com
-
ns2.atom.com
This usually takes just a few minutes. Here are instructions for popular registrars:
For any other registrar, search their help section for "change nameservers".
DNS changes can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 24 hours to propagate. Once they do, type your custom domain URL into your browser and you should see your marketplace live.
Why name servers? Your marketplace is managed via Cloudflare, which means faster load times through a global edge network, free automatically managed SSL, built-in protection against bots and DDoS attacks, and higher reliability. It also means you can add additional DNS records for your domain, such as MX records for your email, directly from Atom (see Managing DNS Records below), with no need to switch back to your registrar for DNS changes.
Already set up with A records? That method is being deprecated on October 6 (see the notice at the top of this article). Just update your name servers at your registrar as described above; no changes are needed on Atom.com.
Managing DNS Records
Once your domain is pointing to Atom's name servers, you manage all of its DNS records directly from Atom, with no need to go back to your registrar.
On your Settings page, scroll to the Domain Verification section. Once your domain shows as Domain Verified via Nameservers, Cloudflare protection is active and you will see a Manage DNS button:

Click Manage DNS to add, edit, or remove custom DNS records for your domain. For example, you can add:
-
MX records to keep your email working with your email provider (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.)
-
TXT records for things like SPF, DKIM, or verifying your domain with third-party services
-
CNAME or A records for subdomains, such as pointing blog.yourdomain.com at another service
Changes usually take effect within a few minutes. If your domain does not show as verified yet, use Recheck Verification after updating your name servers at your registrar.
Step 3: Choose Landing Page Routing
Under Landing Page Destination, choose where buyers land when they visit one of your domains:
-
My Marketplace: buyers land directly on your own marketplace landing page. This helps build a sense of ownership for your domain portfolio.
-
Atom's Marketplace: buyers are redirected to Atom's marketplace. This adds credibility and trust behind your domains, since Atom is a recognized business.

Custom Branding
In Marketplace Configuration you can upload a custom logo and favicon, add custom text and images, and change the contact settings that are visible on your marketplace. You can also choose between two themes, Modern and Professional. Most branding features are available in both.

Analytics & Tracking
Your marketplace comes pre-configured with several analytics, visible directly from your dashboard. For additional flexibility, you can also add your Google Analytics Tracking ID to track visits in your own Google Analytics account.
