Atom requires sellers to point their domains to Atom's name servers at all times for Premium listings. For Standard & Plus Listings, sellers are not required to point the name servers to Atom, but they can alternatively verify their domains using a TXT record. However, there are several benefits of pointing name servers to Atom for Plus & Standard Listings as well.

TXT Record Verification Method

For Standard Listings, you can verify your domain using a TXT record instead of pointing to Atom nameservers. This method is suitable if you prefer to keep your domain pointed to your registrar's default nameservers. Note that you should not use Atom nameservers when verifying via a TXT record, as this will not work.

Here are the instructions to point your domains to Atom Name Servers: This section specifically covers the nameserver-based verification method.

Edit the nameservers for your domain in your registrar’s control panel. Set the first and second nameservers to:

ns1.atom.com

ns2.atom.com

Leave any other nameservers blank. Ensure that all other nameservers are completely removed to avoid conflicts.

Once you’ve done this, it can take 24 – 48 hours for your changes to propagate across the internet. 

Atom will automatically check if your domain is pointed to us at random intervals. If you prefer, you can ask Atom to check right away, by visiting your Marketplace Listings Dashboard and clicking Check DNS. 

Important: While the domain is listed with Atom Premium marketplace, you must continue to point your Name Servers to Atom at all time. Failure to update your name servers to Atom will result in delisting of your domain, and possible further account restrictions. You can read further about Marketplace Rules For Sellers.
