After you install the extension from the Chrome Web Store, here’s how to get started:

1. Pin the extension Click the puzzle piece icon in your Chrome toolbar, then hit the pin icon next to “Atom Domain Appraisal.”
2. Activate it on any page Before using it, you’ll need to activate it. Just click the extension icon once to turn it on for that site.
3. Appraise any domain in seconds
   • Hover over the “Atom Appraisal” button that appears next to domains on most pages
   • Or right-click any domain name and choose “Appraise with Atom”

Alongside the extension, we’re also launching a public API for Appraisals. Now you can integrate Atom’s domain valuation engine into your own tools or workflows.

📊 How accurate are the valuations?

There’s no such thing as a perfect valuation and any tool claiming otherwise is overselling. But a strong estimate, paired with meaningful metadata, can be incredibly helpful in evaluating the relative value of a domain in today’s market.

That’s exactly what we’ve aimed for.  We’ve been working on improving our algorithm so it reflects reasonable retail expectations based on a combination of signals that have historically aligned well with actual domain sales. 

Daily Usage Limits

Because this technology uses advanced AI models and infrastructure, we’ve placed daily usage limits to keep things sustainable:

• Guests: 10 requests/day
• Registered users: 20/day
• Silver tier: 30/day
• Gold tier: 50/day
• Platinum tier: 100/day

Keep in mind that higher usage tiers may come with a cost, especially if you require large-scale or automated access.

Constantly Improving

We’re also continuing to refine our valuation algorithm. While no appraisal tool is perfect, our goal is to provide fair, retail-range estimates, alongside additional metadata to help you evaluate domains more holistically.

This includes signals like brandability, length, phonetic appeal, and real-world usage matches. We’re training on real transactions, not just speculative math.
