A faster path into premium
For a long time, getting into our Premium Marketplace meant going through a review process. That was intentional. Strong curation is what makes the marketplace work.
To manage volume and maintain quality, submissions required coins, and reviews could take several days, sometimes even a few weeks.
That approach helped us build a trusted marketplace.
Now we’re evolving it.
From review-only to instant decisions
We’ve been investing heavily in AI across how domains are evaluated. The system looks at brandability, commercial potential, language quality, and how well a name resonates with real buyers.
In many cases, it’s now confident enough to make a clear decision.
So instead of sending everything through review, we can approve some domains instantly.
If your domain meets our standards, you’ll see the option to list it instantly. No submission, no waiting, no coins. It goes live in the Premium Marketplace right away.
Not instant doesn’t mean not approved
A lot of domains fall into a middle category. Strong names, but not an obvious yes or no.
For those, the review path still exists. You can submit them just like before, and many of these domains do get approved after human review.
Just because something isn’t instantly approved doesn’t mean it isn’t good enough. It usually means it’s closer to the edge cases where judgment matters more.
Standards are getting tighter, not looser
It’s important to be clear about this.
We’re not lowering the bar for premium. If anything, the bar is becoming more consistent and more disciplined.
Instant approvals only happen when the system has very high confidence. If there’s any uncertainty, the domain goes through manual review.
The goal is not to approve more. It’s to make better, faster decisions.

One of the biggest improvements here is transparency.
When you check a domain, you won’t just see a yes or no. You’ll also see why.
A quick assessment highlights what’s working, what might be limiting it, and how strong it is as a brand. Over time, this should make it easier to understand what makes a domain truly premium.
Always running in the background
This isn’t a one-time check.
If you already have standard listings on Atom, the system will continue scanning them in the background. If any domain becomes eligible for instant premium later, we’ll notify you via your dashboard and let you upgrade immediately.
No resubmission needed.
Where you’ll see this
1. On the appraisal page
You can enter any domain and get an instant read on whether it qualifies for premium, along with a breakdown of its strengths and comparable sales. If it’s eligible, you can list it instantly.

2. On your dashboard
You’ll see which of your existing Standard Listings are eligible for instant premium listing, along with options to upgrade them right away.
3. During domain submission
As you add domains, we’ll run a real-time assessment and highlight which ones qualify for instant premium approval.
The rest can still be submitted for premium review just like before.
Why this matters
A lot of strong domains never make it into the curated section. Not because they aren’t good enough, but because the process is slow or unclear.
This removes a lot of that friction.
Clearer signals, faster decisions, and a more dynamic marketplace as a result.
