How to Set Up Account Level Seller Preferences

Published Jun 18, 2026 · Updated Jun 22, 2026

Seller preferences are indicators that a domain seller can set across their portfolio. You can override these preferences on any individual domain you have, but you can also set these preferences on a bulk of your domains as well.

Here is a list of preferences you'll find within your account:

  • Installment Terms

  • Showcase Make An Offer Option

  • Make An Offer Threshold

  • Negotiation Preferences

Installment Terms

You have the option to turn installment terms on or off for all of your domains. By turning them on, buyers will have the ability to select installment terms when purchasing your domains.

Once you enable installment terms, you'll have the ability to select your maximum installment terms (6, 12, or Max Allowed). The Max Allowed will set a maximum of 6 month installments for BIN prices between $500-2000, 12 months for $2000-5000, and 24 months for $5000+.

Show Make Offer Option In Addition to BIN Price

This feature allows you to have the Make An Offer option in addition to the 'Buy It Now' button for potential buyers.

Make An Offer visible with Buy It Now button

We recommend using the Minumum BIN Price option, as the Make an Offer section is a subtle indication to buyers that you are willing to negotiate. It's a great way to get more buyer interest in higher-priced domains, without encouraging a full-price offer for lower BIN domains.

Make an Offer Thresholds

This function automatically rejects any offers that are below your threshold to save you time and effort when it comes to domain offers. We typically recommend between a threshold of 60-70% to avoid missing initial offers from interested buyers that are within an acceptable price range.

Negotiation Preferences

These options have to do with our 24/7 Chat Team. Your account comes with a 24x7 chat function that allows almost immediate connection with our Customer Service team anytime for your visitors and potential buyers.

We will always try to reach out to you and involve you with the negotiation process. However, if you're away or unable to respond to potential buyers, the chat team can easily step in for you and begin the process if you set up these negotiation thresholds.

We see the faster you can get back and initiate the negotiation process, the quicker we can close domain sales.

Conclusion

As you can see, these seller preferences are here to help you get the absolute most out of our platform and make selling your domains a simple and easy process.

You should note that you can simply override many of these preferences on the 'My Domains' page within your Marketplace under Standard Listings.

As always, if you have any questions regarding the Seller Preferences or anything else, you can easily connect with our 24/7 chat support team and they would be happy to answer any questions you have.
