As an ICANN-accredited registrar, Atom provides the following disclosures in accordance with the ICANN Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA) and related ICANN consensus policies.
These disclosures help you understand your rights, responsibilities, and our obligations as your registrar.
1. Fees and Charges

Fees. We publish our domain fees in advance and surface them at checkout and renewal:
- Registration fee (by TLD and term)
- Standard renewal fee (by TLD and term)
- Post-expiration renewal fee (if different from standard renewal)
- Restore/Redemption fee (if applicable per TLD)
- Transfer-in/out fees (where applicable)
These amounts are available before purchase and at renewal, and may vary by TLD and registry policy.
2. Expiration Notices (ERRP)
In line with ICANN’s Expired Registration Recovery Policy (ERRP):
- Renewal notices are sent approximately 30 days and 7 days before expiration.
- A final reminder is sent within 5 days after expiration.
- If a domain expires, we may temporarily renew it to preserve your ability to recover it during ICANN-defined grace and redemption periods.
Additional fees may apply per TLD.
3. Abuse Reporting
Atom provides a 24/7 contact for abuse complaints involving domains under our management.
Reports may include spam, phishing, malware, botnets, child exploitation, or other illegal use.
We investigate all valid reports and cooperate with ICANN, registries, and law enforcement as required.

4. Registrant Rights and Responsibilities

5. Transfers
Atom follows ICANN’s Transfer Policy and TAC (Auth Code) process for all registrable domains:
- Transfer requests require a valid TAC (authorization code).
- Domains may be subject to a 60-day transfer lock after registration, transfer, or registrant change—unless an opt-out is provided where permitted.
- If you believe your transfer was denied in error, you can appeal to support@atom.com with subject line starting with “Transfer”

6. Registration Data and RDAP
We operate a public Registration Data Access Protocol (RDAP) service that displays limited domain data consistent with ICANN’s Registration Data Policy (RDP) and applicable privacy laws.

Annual Contact-Data Reminder. Once per year, Atom sends registrants a reminder to review and correct their registration contact data. If any information is inaccurate, you must update it promptly through your account.
7. Data Escrow
All registration data is securely escrowed with an ICANN-approved data escrow provider. This ensures your domain data remains protected and recoverable in the event of registrar failure or business disruption.
8. Dispute Policies
Atom complies with ICANN-mandated domain dispute resolution frameworks, including:
- Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP)
- Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS)
- Registry-specific dispute procedures, where applicable.
