Today, we’re excited to share that the first phase of Atom’s integrated domain registrar is officially live.

A More Seamless Transfer Experience

Starting immediately, all .com domains purchased via the Atom Marketplace will transfer to Atom’s registrar.

This means buyers can now manage their DNS directly within Atom — no need to wait for external registrar approvals or deal with multiple account handoffs.

This upgrade brings several key benefits for both buyers and sellers:

• Faster transfers — Domains move instantly to the buyer’s Atom account after purchase.
• Simplified management — Buyers can update DNS and settings without leaving the Atom dashboard.
• Quicker seller payouts — The entire transaction process is now faster and more reliable.
• Enhanced payment plan experience — Buyers enjoy full registrar access during payment plans (excluding domain transfers).

Domain transactions have traditionally involved multiple intermediaries, registrars, and manual processes — each adding friction, delay, and uncertainty.

By bringing registrar capabilities in-house, Atom can now control the full post-sale experience, ensuring that transactions are secure, fast, and seamless.
